Big Sur


 
Just south of the Monterey Penisula, the Pacific Coast Highway makes a continuous series
of S-curves, revealing another fantastic view around each corner.

 
The surf was causing big plumes of spray which added to the beauty!

 
Home for the night! I decided to set up the small campsite for the sake of time. I was 
surrounded by magnificent giants - the coastal redwoods!

The next morning I made the drive up to the Monterey Penisula. The bridge, Bixby Bridge,
dates back to the early 1930s, and is a marvel of engineering!

 
The winds picked up and made the coast even more exciting! Hey, surf's up!
